We provide a wide range of services in Carpentry, Joinery & Fit Out. Our broad expertise covers the supply and fix of a single joinery item to undertaking supply and fix of joinery packages in excess of £4 million, with the added ability to offer a full fit out package.
We have sustained a turnover in excess of £5 million annually, with a continued growth of 33% year on year; the majority of our turnover is a result of continued repeat business from our existing clientele. We have pre-qualified with Constructionline to enable direct client works to continue within the healthcare / schools industry.
We are a family run business now in our 14th year of trading; the company is ISO 9001 accreditied and prides ourself on quality of service, performance and experience.
Company History
GW Carpentry Services Ltd was formed in 1998 by Geoff Woolcomb, an individual experienced and highly skilled in Carpentry and Joinery. Formed as a family business, originally based in Southend and now based in Basildon, rapidly grew from smaller office to larger office to accomodate their growing team. From day one, the GW team have been dedicated to providing high quality commercial services, and this is reflected in the first years turnover of £330k (now in excess of £5m).
Starting from just husband and wife, the GW team rapidly grew to consist of:

Charity Fundraising
GW Carpentry have supported numerous Charities over the last 14 years, including raising in excess of £45k for Little Havens Childrens Hospice, local special needs schools and currently Plan International.
